He cocked his head to the side and watched with veiled interest as Starscream flailed about, trying to gain his footing. It perhaps would have been more amusing to see him brought down from his high horse if Soundwave wasn't concerned about the Autobots catching on and coming to investigate.
After several moments of hesitation, he offered an arm for Starscream to stabilize himself with. Time was something that he needed on their side. He couldn't afford to waste it even if it meant putting an end to Starscream's humiliation.
